Joao Sa e Sousa

Biography

João Sá e Sousa is a Portuguese lens based artist that lives between Portugal and The United Kingdom and has experience in photojournalism and advertising work.

His ongoing project explores the artificial, or the hyper real representation of time and space using a contemporary aesthetics, punctuated by performed photography.

To create a surreal and unique world, long exposures and high iso values are used.
Overall the work has a strong connection to the human condition and inner struggles.
